iDEKO was honored to work with the Friends of the BQX to unveil the Brooklyn Queens Connector project, a 14-mile streetcar line along the Brooklyn and Queens waterfront. Several community leaders, including Queens Borough President Melinda Katz and Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, spoke to the press tooutline the $2.5 billion project and showcase the 46-foot-long Citadis 405, which was constructed in and shipped from Nice, France. Supporters were able to board the prototype at street-level and experience what the Connector might look like, and later participated in a panel discussion and enjoyed a cocktail hour to end the night. iDEKO managed all of the production, staffing, event rentals, and onsite management for this momentous occasion.
