Making Strides Walk

American Cancer Society Annual Central Park Fundraiser

Story

For the past three years American Cancer Society has relied on Cal Nathan to produce their annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in New York City’s Central Park.  The event starts with setup in the wee hours of the night on Saturday evening and culminates with 50,000 walkers trekking their way across the four to five mile NYC Central Park course.  Production starts months in advance with planning and logistics meetings, and includes course marking & management, operations, communications, signage, rentals (tenting, A/V and signage) as well as  day-of management and oversight.
