On Sunday, May 10, 2015, Red Bull Music Academy brought an outdoor Jamacian dancehall party, ‘Yardcore: Brooklyn Bashment’ to Brooklyn’s Fort Greene Park. iDEKO once again partnered with RBMA and Trevanna to permit and produce this event. The event included performances from King Jammy, Assassin, Lisa Hype, Tifa, Kranium, Ricky Blaze, Mixpak Sound, and Federation Sound. The event also featured a T-Shirt Shop staffed and produced by iDEKO along with sourced food carts, such as Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream, Nuchas and others, serving up their specialties on Dekalb Avenue. Miss Lily’s was onsite selling their fan favorite jerk chicken all day long. iDEKO provided production elements including staging, lighting, security, trussing, and tenting. iDEKO obtained all New York City permits including Department of Parks and Recreation, NYPD sound permit, FDNY generator permits, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene permits as well as Department of Buildings structural permit for the large stage-truss.
