On Tuesday January 27, the world’s best ice climber, Will Gadd, made history by being the first person to ever ascend Niagara Falls at Terrapin Point – a 120-foot vertical climb from the base of the falls . iDEKO produced this epic climb and secured the first ever permit to climb the world famous Niagara Falls. The iDEKO team coordinated with NY State Parks, NY State Parks Police and a variety of State and Local officials on logistics and safety to ensure the climb went off seamlessly. This event was a great opportunity to bring recognition to the beautiful environment, scenic parks and historic lands and shed light on the tremendous importance of not only preserving these areas but also using them for recreation, rejuvenation and inspiration.
