Homeland and Dexter Season Premier Launch

Story

When Showtime decided to promote its newest season of Homeland and Dexter in NYC’s Grand Central Terminal, their agency Van Wagner turned to Cal Nathan to help produce and execute an award winning activation.  The activation featured many unique touch points including customized iPad kiosks with show trailers and teasers; Dexter’s famed table where guests were photographed and then shared their photos across social media; a lab where attendees were challenged to defuse a simulated bomb in 30 seconds; and a lounge where guests could unwind and re-charge while enjoying Dexter themed Magnolia bakery cupcakes.  The focal point of the activation was a unique truss tunnel that featured a curved photo retrospective on the upcoming Homeland season prominently featuring  Carrie, Saul and Brody in large printed formats.  The activation created hundreds of thousands of social media impressions and over 10,000 people passed through over 3 days.
