iDEKO Productions Expands Agency Capabilities, Names Ryan V. Thompson as Vice President, Creative Services

NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2017 – iDEKO Productions, an Experiential, Events & Marketing Agency, announced today it will expand its strategic and creative capabilities with the hire of Marketing and Advertising Executive, Ryan V. Thompson, as Vice President, Creative Services. Thompson will be based in New York City, reporting to Evan Korn, Managing Partner.

Thompson is a beverage industry veteran, having worked on brands like Red Bull Energy Drink, Vita Coco, Amstel Light and Dos Equis at Heineken USA. His creative contributions on the Dos Equis brands’ highly successful, award-winning “Most Interesting Man in the World” campaign led to a Golden Effie Award for 5 years of Sustained Success in 2013. He also led cutting edge experiential initiatives – mobile tours spanning edible entomology to hot air ballooning, competitions ranging from camel racing to SUP paddle-boarding around Manhattan and globe trekking adventures covering everywhere from the ancient pelota mixta courts of Oaxaca, Mexico to sub-tropical receding glaciers of the Rwenzori Mountains in Africa – each endeavor truly worthy of the Most Interesting Man himself.

In his most recent role as Brand Director on Dos Equis, Thompson led promotional period strategy and commercial implementation on programs such as DOS de Mayo, #StayThirsty Summer, and XX Masquerade. In addition, he secured strategic partnerships with properties including Tough Mudder, XGames, World of Adventure and successfully implemented the brands’ foray into College Football with ESPN, making Dos Equis the first Official Beer Sponsor of College Football Playoff.

In this newly created position, Thompson will be focused on expanding the agency’s capabilities to include integrated marketing strategy, experiential design and creative services. He will be responsible for creating a stronger value proposition with iDEKO’s current clients and expanding roster of progressively-minded brands, programs and properties.

This announcement comes a week after the agency opened its Los Angeles, CA offices and appointed Entertainment Industry Executive, Melissa Davidson, as Vice President, Business Development, West Coast.
